With reference to your letter No.29459 of the 16th
August I have the honour to enclose for the information of
the Earl of Elgin a copy of a letter and the accompanying
drawings, in duplicate, which we have received from Sir
Aston Webb & Ingress Bell regarding the provision of a
third court in the New Buildings at Hong Kong.
2. In the event of the scheme suggested by the
Architects being adopted we shall be glad to know whether
they should be instructed to deal with the question of
fittings.
